Description
COMAC AL-ZINC ANODE, BOLT TYPE B4
COMAC ALUMINUM ZINC ANODES is our prime product of distribution throughout Indonesia.
Composed by 99.92% Pure Aluminum quality from local resources of INALUM. Distributed a minimum electrical output of 10 mA / m2 to protect ship against corrosion by sacrificed. A sacrificial anode is a metallic anode used in cathode protection where it is intended to be dissolved to protect other metallic components.
More scientifically, a sacrificial anode can be defined as a metal that is more easily oxidized than the protected metal. Electrons are stripped from the anode and conducted to the protected metal, which becomes the cathode. The cathode is protected from corroding, i.e., oxidizing, due to reduction rather than oxidation takes place on its surface. COMAC product type has approved by BKI and DNV-GL for the Quality Management (ISO 9001:2015).
